Sandra Bernhard: Palin Would Be Gang-Raped By Blacks in Manhattan

http://media.newsbusters.org/stories/sandra-bernhard-palin-would-be-gang-raped-blacks-manhattan.html

Well, that classy Sandra Bernhard never fails to disappoint. Threatening gang rape if Sarah comes to New York City. Charming. I especially liked it when she referred to the New Testament as Sarah's "new Goyish crappy shiksa funky bullshit". Excuse me Sandra. Just thinking of you attempting to get all religious righteous on us just made me throw up in my mouth a little.

Obama supports U.S. economic recovery efforts

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080919/ts_nm/usa_politics_obama_financial_dc

Okay, well that is good to know. The problem though is:

"Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama said on Friday he supported efforts by the U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve to shore up confidence in the financial markets and said he would hold off from presenting his own economic recovery plan."

Um, okay. We'll just wait right here then until Barack decides what would Brian Boitano do. Could we have a little decision by the Presidential wannabe please?

Hillary is F**king Obama

Okay, this is a little crude, but I laughed myself silly when I saw it. For anyone who saw the whole Sarah Silverman/Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel/Ben Affleck thing a while back (Harrison Ford was magnificant BTW) here is a little take on Hillary and Barack:

Today's SPM - 09/09/08

Today we are debunking a whole lot of SPMs

Thanks to Newsweek and Factcheck.org doing simple research that is apparantly beyond the grasp of most of the mainstream media.

Sliming Palin
False Internet claims and rumors fly about McCain's running mate.

http://www.newsweek.com/id/157986

1. Palin cut funding for special needs kids - False.

Palin actually increased special funding from $26,900 per child to $77,740 per child.

2. Palin tried to have books banned from the library and then fired the librarian- False.

Palin asked for the librarian's resignation before the book banning conversation was even held, along with 3 other employees as part of a loyalty test. They all kept their jobs. The book banning question was a hypothetical question to see what kind of response would be made in such a scenario. The so called "list of banned books" incuded books that were not even in print at the time of the conversation. Mea Culpa, even I fell for this one.

3. Palin was a member of the Alaskan Indepedence Party - False.

Palin's husband was a member and she attended one of its functions in her capacity as mayor. Anyway, who cares? The way Alaska has been ripped on during the past few weeks, I would have wanted to secede too.

4. Palin endorsed Pat Buchanan - False.

Palin was working on behalf of Steve Forbes at the time. Still a good question of her sanity, but as my own husband was working for Steve Forbes then too, I can't cast stones, lol.

5. Palin supports teaching creationism in schools - True.

Palin does support it as far as allowing it to be debated, but has not taken any action as Governor to put it into law.

As a side note, I would just like to say to Anne Kilkenny: Get over yourself already. You admit that Sarah has not liked you for years. Well, now the rest of the world is finding out why. Stop trying to use her candidacy to get your 15 minutes of fame.

Today's SPM - 09/08/08

Today's Sarah Palin Myth - Palin friend Scott Richter made an emergency request to have his divorce records sealed as proof that he had an affair with Sarah.

Yeah, right. I have this great bridge in Brooklyn (that actually goes somewhere) to sell you too.

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2008/0905083palin1.html

"According to the filing, Richter wanted the documents deemed confidential in a bid to cloak details about his home, workplace, and phone numbers because "reporters and news agencies" were using that information to contact him".

Somebody please tell me why this man and his son lose their right to privacy just because they happen to be friends with a potential VP?

For all of those conspiracy theorists:

Palin fuses politics and motherhood in new way

http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/09/08/america/08baby.php

Could we just let the "Bristol is Trig's mother" rumor rest in peace now? Just admit you were wrong and let it go.
