Today's SPM (Sarah Palin Myth) - The GOP heads are ducking interviews for Sarah because she is an unpolished speaker who can't answer unscripted questions.

Below are YouTube clips from a live C-Span interview that she gave in February, long before she was the VP pick. I think she did just fine.

As for the interview requests, well....she is on the campaign trail right now and then there is the little matter of having a STATE to run. Unlike a Senator, she can't just quit the day job while she campaigns. These videos have been part of the argument that her pregnancy with Trig was faked because she is 7 months pregnant at the time, but doesn't mention it. I would suggest that anyone who reads that kind of speculation into it, ask a family member or a friend who has had a risky pregnancy as to whether or not they would publicly share that information when there was a good chance of a tragic outcome.

Noticeably, she skirts a direct answer as to whether or not she would accept the VP slot if it was offered. Well, at least she didn't say no outright, like Obama did:
